Τι λένε για εμάς

In January 2020, my husband and I moved to Dublin to live and work. Two months later, the Covid-19 Pandemic hit. We turned to the Hellenic Community of Ireland for help as our English proficiency was limited and we didn't know where to turn. Their assistance was crucial, enabling us to stay and navigate the challenges. Now, we feel more secure, integrated into Irish society, and part of a larger community. Sincerely, Konstantina

Since arriving in Dublin in September 2019, we've been profoundly thankful for the unwavering support of the Hellenic Community. Meeting Stella Xenopoulou, the community president, early on was a boon; her warmth and generosity instantly made us feel at home. Through her, we connected with fellow members and contributed to organizing events like the Greek Business and Arts Festival.

The community fosters the Greek spirit in Ireland by facilitating networking, aiding Greek businesses in the Irish market, and running the Greek school for young students to learn language, culture, and history. Attending events such as the Greek school Christmas celebration and the Works of Nikos Kazantzakis has been truly enriching.

Their website provides indispensable information for life in Ireland, covering everything from health insurance to job hunting. We owe an immense debt of gratitude to the Hellenic community, particularly Stella, for their unwavering support during our challenging transition.

The Hellenic Community of Ireland is crucial for Greeks relocating to Ireland, providing a sense of home and facilitating connections. Meeting the President, Secretary, and Cashier was pivotal, as their support encouraged my involvement in community events. Starting my business during the Arts and Business Festival organized by the community boosted my confidence. Additionally, as a former School Principal and English teacher in Greece, I appreciate the Greek School's role in preserving our language and fostering harmony within immigrant families.
