Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία

The Greek Orthodox Community of the Annunciation is a congregation of Greek Orthodox Christians, in their large majority of Hellenic origin, including a few Palestinians, Irish and Eastern Europeans.

About the church

You may have already seen our beautiful little Church at the end of the Arbour Hill road in Dublin. A Greek Orthodox Church established with the hopes and dreams of many people here in Ireland. And while several members of our parish are Greek, our Church welcomes and serves all Orthodox and we are blessed to have Irish, Palestinian, Romanian, Serbian, Georgian, Egyptian, German, Syrian, Ethiopian, Russian, Canadian and other parishioners, too.

Our Church is the only Greek Orthodox Church in Ireland and is mostly in operation on Sundays.

Weekly Divine Liturgy

The Divine Liturgy starts most Sundays at 10 am until (approximately) 12:15 pm. It is celebrated both in Greek and English. Our Priest in charge, Father Ioannis, welcomes everyone who wishes to attend.

The community hall

Adjacent to the Church there is our Community Hall, which is used for gatherings after the Divine Liturgy on Sundays, where we welcome all our Greek compatriots, and not only, who wish to come and meet us over coffee and tea.
