Established in 1964

Established in 1964, the Hellenic Community of Ireland operates as a non-political and selfless association. As a social enterprise with charitable status, our core objectives include:

  1. Preserving the Greek and Greek-Cypriot identity, language, and facilitating the integration of our members into Irish society. This involves operating the Greek School in Dublin and aspiring to expand to other locations.
  2. Encouraging and supporting socio-economic, cultural, educational, and related activities for the development of our members in Greece, Cyprus, and Ireland, as well as fostering connections between these regions.
  3. Promoting the well-being of our members by providing various forms of support.
  4. Cultivating and nurturing relationships with other Hellenic communities worldwide.
  5. Fostering solidarity and mutual assistance among our members.
